Procurement and Contract Compliance


Procurement and Contract Compliance administers the Unified Government's centralized purchasing system. Procurement is responsible for developing bid specifications jointly with Unified Government departments, obtaining bids through advertising and direct solicitation, establishing and monitoring price agreement contracts, and issuing purchase orders.

Procurement also maintains the database of suppliers and contractors who are interested in working with the Unified Government.

The mission of the Unified Government Procurement and Contract Compliance Department is to deliver the best value product or service to the customer in a timely basis, while maintaining the public's trust and fulfilling public policy objectives.

The Procurement Department has been established to administer the procurement process on behalf of the Unified Government.
